Code of conduct

Please leave footwear at the entrance. It is a simple mark of respect and keeps the premises and main hall clean.

Please treat the shrines, deities, scriptures, and rituals with quiet reverence. Anything that breaks the peace of worship is out of place here.

Touching a deity is never allowed. We hope you’ll understand. That care is part of how we honor the Lord.

Kindness, patience, and a little courtesy go a long way among devotees, volunteers, and staff.

Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior is not welcome. If something needs sorting out, please do it privately, and with an open ear.

Please keep phones on silent in the prayer hall, and speak softly so others can pray.

Photography is welcome only in designated areas, without flash in the main hall, and with respect for other devotees’ privacy. Commercial use needs written permission from the office first.

Children under ten should stay with a parent or guardian, including on the playground. Running and horseplay are not a fit for the shrine.

Strollers are not permitted on the upper level. We’re glad to help find a comfortable place for little ones downstairs.

Pets and other animals are not permitted on the temple grounds.

Because of the sanctity of the shrine, animals, including service animals, are not permitted on the upper level.

Food prepared outside the temple, including prasadam from home, may not be distributed on the grounds except within a private group. For health, allergies, and our offering guidelines, we will need to set aside food that doesn’t meet that standard.

Non-vegetarian food is not allowed on temple property. Items prepared with garlic or onion are not permitted.

Flowers and seasonal fruit may be left at the donation counter. Prasadam is offered after aarti. Please don’t bring outside food or drinks to share in the hall.

Planning an abhishekam, archana, car puja, or another ritual? Please confirm timing and availability with the temple office ahead of time so we can receive you properly.

Your well-being matters to us. Emergency exits and first-aid kits are on site. In a fire, severe weather, or other emergency, please stay calm and follow temple staff or volunteers.

Please keep your belongings with you, including shoes and coats. We’re not able to take responsibility for items that go missing. The office is glad to help if something is lost.

Because the inner shrine is narrow, wheelchairs are not able to enter the ardhamandapam of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha. Darshan from the main hall is always welcome, and we will help however we can.

Smoking, vaping, alcohol, recreational drugs, and non-vegetarian food are not permitted on temple property.

Weapons, explosives, and hazardous materials are not permitted.

Please help us keep the campus tidy by using the bins provided.
